Mileena's Teddy

Mileena’s Teddy.

Based on the tower challenge in Mortal Kombat: I Hate Teddies.  Mileena wants to give Scorpion a teddy bear that she made all by herself.  Scorpion, however, hates teddies.  Mileena worked hard on it and won’t take his rejection of the bear sitting down.  I decided to add some fluff here and there and embellish it as well.  Rated T for minor blood and minor language.

Scorpion stood in the subway.  He had heard on the grapevine that Sub-Zero had challenged him to a fight and was mocking him, calling him a chicken.  Sub-Zero was to be waiting for Scorpion in the Subway station.  However, Scorpion was here but saw neither hide nor hair of his icy foe.  When all of a sudden, Scorpion heard the sound of footfalls, and this really irked him.  He knew he had been set up.  Sub-Zero was not here.  Scorpion knew this because if he were to show up, he would be a lot stealthier about it, and second, this type of shoe was worn by female underlings of Shao Kahn.  Sub-Zero was not an underling of Shao Kahn, nor was he female.

Soon, the shoes’ owner came from around the corner, and reviled herself to be Mileena.  Though she was not on his list of people whom he held dear (a list reserved for his clan and family), Scorpion had to admit that Mileena was clever.  She rarely picked a fight with her allies, and even when she did, there was a justifiable reason behind it.  As she got closer to Scorpion, he noticed she had something in her hand.  Soon they were within arm’s reach of each other.  Mileena stated her case.

“I wanted to give you this teddy.  I made it myself.”  Scorpion’s anger grew.

“I hate teddies!” He yelled.  It was Mileena’s turn to be angry.

“I worked so hard on this!! You have to accept it!” Scorpion wasn’t one to take forced teddy threats and so they began to fight.  Fists, fire, sais, and even Mileena began to fly in every which way.

“Please won’t you take it?!” Demanded Mileena, only to be answered with a fist to the face.  Scorpion, despite his best efforts, seemed to be on the losing end of this bout, as his bloody face and outfit was more so than those of Mileena.


“It’s really soft and fluffy!” Mileena tried to justify the gift.  But finally, after a long, heated brawl, Scorpion could stand no longer.  He was in pain, awaiting what Mileena would do.  She walked up to him.

“TAKE THE GOD DAMN TEDDY!” she bellowed, throwing the stuffed gift onto his chest.  Then without a word, Mileena turned on a heel and left.  Scorpion soon found it in him to stand.  As he limped away, he could not help but say.

“The next thing you know, she’ll be shoving chocolates down my throat.  AND YES, I HATE CHOCOLATE TOO!”
